    Our client, an upscale home furnishings retailer, was established in 2000 and brings a fresh approach to the interior design industry. Their diverse mix of antiques and furniture, upholstery, lighting, and other intriguing objects gives a refined yet livable look. Due to their timeless sensibility that appeals to the sophisticated aesthetic, they have become a leader in the interior design industry.

    Due to their growth, our client is seeking to hire an experienced, customer-focused Account Manager for their Mid-town Atlanta store located in the Howell Mill District. The Account Manager will be responsible for building relationships within the design community across the US, as well as assisting with any design projects and be responsible for sales of home furnishings to the A&D community.

    The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, proactive, solution-oriented, and professional. Proven success working with the design community is required for this position.

    Our client is focused on delivering the highest level of customer service to their customers. The Professional competencies that are essential for success in this role are as follows:

    Responsibilities:

    • Grow retail sales
    • Service designers and assist with design jobs on an as-needed basis
    • Routinely update interior design firm libraries with the latest catalogs and marketing materials
    • Identify growth opportunities including high-potential customers & new accounts locally
    • Represent the brand by providing incomparable customer service with the utmost professionalism
    • Learn the brands, quality, and price point so that you can speak to the customer with knowledge and confidence
    • Stay up-to-date on design trends and new products
    • Ability to send out quotes in a timely manner
    • Manage order from placement to delivery to ensure client's expectations

     

    Qualifications:

    • Background in interior design and proven success working with the design community
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Previous successful sales experience
