Headquartered in the Boston market Salesboat is in the entire Boston area and is the largest energy consulting firm in the county providing gas and energy services specifically to the residential industry in a commercial setting.
We’re seeking a top-notch account manager for the area. A Salesboat salesperson is responsible for developing new business and maintaining existing accounts within a specific territory. As the primary interface between our clients and our customers, the Account Manager must represent the company faithfully and with the highest level of integrity.
Responsibilities (include, but are not limited to the following)
Develop new business
Maintain relationships with an existing customer base
Generate sales proposals
Promptly respond to administrative requests
Deliver samples
Document special orders
Sell special warehouse items
Measure apartment floor plans and develop seaming diagrams
Assist in resolving installation problems and customer complaints
Be actively involved in local trade associations
Attend branch sales meetings
Assist with various tasks as requested by the supervisor
Our ideal candidate is probably in a sales, business development, or account management role right now for a firm in retail, restaurant, or sales. Although these are some closely-related fields, we’re open to a variety of experiences in selling/account management.
Job Requirements
1+ years of sales experience
1+ years of Customer service or sales experience is preferred, but not required
Proven ability to set and attain goals
