They sell into the Commercial, Education (K-12 and post-secondary), Healthcare, Industrial, and Oil/Gas industries with several clients being Fortune500. Products are Access Control, CCTV, Intrusion, and Automation solutions - some of the biggest names in the space such as Lenel, Software House, Avigilon, Milestone, Genetec, etc.
Position Overview:
Are you an experienced salesperson with a knack for developing business and managing client relationships? Our client needs you to present cutting-edge solutions, provide technical expertise, and work closely with their operations and engineering teams to craft proposals and oversee client security initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Business Development: Identify and cultivate new business opportunities while nurturing existing client accounts.
- Client Management: Maintain regular communication with customers, addressing their needs and ensuring satisfaction.
- Project Collaboration: Partner with the Operations team to manage projects seamlessly.
- Independent Work: Thrive in a role that requires autonomy and self-direction.
- Customer Follow-Up: Ensure customer requests are met with prompt and effective solutions.
- Account Manager Support: Assist in the development and mentorship of Account Managers.
- Project Estimation: Accurately estimate project costs and create detailed quotes and scopes of work.
- Networking: Build strong relationships with vendors, suppliers, and industry contacts.
Qualifications:
- Industry Experience: 3-5 years of experience selling enterprise-level access control and video systems (e.g., Lenel, Genetec, Avigilon, Software House).
- Communication Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
- Collaborative Attitude: A positive, team-oriented approach to interacting with customers and colleagues.
- Project Management: Proven ability to juggle multiple projects with meticulous attention to detail.
- Integrity: A steadfast commitment to upholding company standards and procedures.
- Educational Background: BA/BS degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
