Job Description
Veolia Water Technologies' Hydrex Chemical Solutions Group is seeking an Account Manager in the Western central Louisiana area.
The Account Manager is responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with existing customers, identifying and pursuing sales opportunities, and ensuring customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in sales, a strong understanding of customer relationship management (CRM), and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Manage a portfolio of existing accounts
Identify and qualify sales opportunities
Develop and execute sales strategies
Negotiate and close deals
Provide excellent customer service
Resolve customer issues and complaints
Track sales performance and report results
Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices
Qualifications
Education and Experience Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in any discipline plus 7 years of water treatment experience. BSc in Engineering or Chemistry preferred.
7+ years of experience in sales, preferably in a B2B environment
Strong understanding of CRM software
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proven ability to develop and maintain relationships with customers
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Computer skills and familiarity with Google Workspace
This position will require occasional travel.
