Account Manager for a B2B Online Printing Conglomerate
Our client is a fast-growing, private equity-backed provider of online printing solutions, packaging, and marketing collateral for SMBs. They are looking for an experienced Account Manager to join their Sales team and manage and grow a portfolio of SMB clients. This role will involve proactively identifying new business opportunities, closing incoming leads, and providing exceptional service to both new and existing clients.
This is a hybrid role reporting a few days each week to our client’s office in Salt Lake City.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the main point of contact for new and existing business accounts, helping customers navigate the sales process and ensuring a seamless experience from start to finish
- Consistently meet or exceed sales targets, growing both new accounts and existing portfolio
- Leverage company offerings to increase awareness for printing and custom packaging solutions
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of all customer interactions in the CRM system
- Use customer insights and data analysis to inform strategies for improving customer retention and maximizing long-term relationships
- Keep sales pipeline up to date and forecast future sales opportunities with accuracy
- Regularly identify ways to enhance customer experience and share innovative ideas with the team
- Contribute to the overall success of the sales team by driving new business and fostering long-term client relationships
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of account management/sales experience, ideally in B2B sales, print, or packaging industries
- Passion for delivering exceptional customer service and building strong, long-lasting relationships
- Familiarity with a manufacturing environment, preferred
- Experienced in proactive prospecting and outreach, with a knack for uncovering customer needs and creating tailored solutions
- Results-driven, with a proven ability to hit sales targets and manage a growing portfolio of accounts
- Comfortable with cross-selling and upselling, driving additional business from existing clients
- Proficient in managing and forecasting a sales pipeline with accuracy
- Well-organized, able to juggle multiple tasks, and always responsive with a sense of urgency
- Comfortable working in a hybrid/remote environment and able to work independently while staying connected to a collaborative team
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a natural ability to build rapport with clients
- A problem solver who enjoys tackling challenges and finding creative solutions for clients
- Experienced with CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.) and familiar with using analytics to predict customer behavior and improve retention
Compensation: Targeting a base salary of $60-$70k plus commission (all-in compensation approaching $100k)
