Abacus Solutions Group is looking for an Accountant!~

The Accountant is responsible for various accounting functions, including accounts payable, financial reconciliations, payroll tax compliance, and general ledger management.

Key duties include processing and reviewing invoices, reconciling vendor statements to ensure accounts payable accuracy, and resolving discrepancies. The role also involves supporting the month-end close process by preparing journal entries and liability account reconciliations, collaborating with senior colleagues on projects, and upholding high ethical standards and integrity in all financial operations.

This position requires adherence to accounting principles and standards while delivering exceptional service to both internal and external customers. Strong organizational and time-management skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or collaboratively are essential. The Accountant should demonstrate excellent problem-solving, analytical abilities, and sound judgment, along with outstanding interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. Proficiency in large ERP accounting software, intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills, and a solid working knowledge of other Microsoft Office applications are also required.
