Job Description

Responsible for accumulating and organizing data to prepare journal entries and reconciliations for the general ledger. Prepare related reports as prescribed and/or requested.

• Job Functions.
• Prepare and maintain accurate and thorough accounting records relative to the general ledger, including but not necessarily limited to:
  • Daily cash entries
  • Inter-company accounting
  • P-card accounting.
• Perform reconciliations of monthly cash, receivables, other assets, and accruals.
• Analyze related financial statements and make sound and actionable recommendations based on the findings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an accounting or finance discipline preferred; substantial related experience may be substituted.
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in accounting/finance in a comparable position required.
• Must be detail-oriented and able to effectively multi-task and prioritize.
• Must have strong communication skills.
• Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications.
• Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary licenses and/or certifications.
