    Job Title: Accountant

    Role Overview:

    The Accountant plays a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records, analyzing financial data, and ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulations. As an integral part of the finance team, the Accountant will be responsible for handling various accounting tasks, assisting in financial reporting, and supporting the organization's financial decision-making process.

    Responsibilities:

    Accounts Payable and Receivable: Process and review invoices, payments, and customer receipts. Ensure timely collection and payment processing.

    Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial statements, balance sheets, and income statements to provide insights into the organization's financial performance.

    Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the budgeting process, analyzing past data to support future financial projections.

    Tax Compliance: Assist in tax-related matters, ensuring compliance with tax regulations and timely submission of tax returns.

    Audit Support: Provide support during internal and external audits, including preparing required documentation and responding to auditor queries.

    Expense Management: Monitor and control expenses, identifying cost-saving opportunities where applicable.

    Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis, identifying trends, and providing insights to support decision-making.

    Payroll Processing: Collaborate with the HR department to process employee payroll accurately and efficiently.

    Accounting Software: Utilize accounting software to record and analyze financial transactions.

    Skills and Qualifications:

    Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

    Proven experience as an Accountant or in a similar role.

    Strong knowledge of accounting principles, regulations, and financial reporting.

    Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.

    Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

    Detail-oriented with high accuracy in data entry and financial records.

    Effective communication and teamwork abilities.

    Ability to handle sensitive financial information with confidentiality.

    Knowledge of tax regulations and compliance is a plus.
