Title: Finance Associate

Location: New York, NY (Hybrid – 3 days in the office)

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee complex private equity funds, including multiple investment vehicles and co-investments.
• Prepare and review quarterly trial balances, financial statements, and supporting workpapers in collaboration with fund administrators.
• Review capital allocations, contributions, distributions, and carried interest calculations.
• Assist with audit preparation and investor performance reporting.
• Support investor relations by responding to requests and compiling performance data.
• Collaborate on portfolio valuations and ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Participate in technology and process improvement initiatives.
• Handle ad hoc requests and cross-departmental projects as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred but not required.
• 2-5+ years of relevant experience in public accounting, private equity fund administration, or private equity accounting.
• Strong understanding of journal entries, financial statements, and fund operations.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with relevant accounting systems is a plus.
• Exceptional organizational, communication, and analytical skills.
• Proactive mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation: $100,000–$145,000, with additional incentives and a comprehensive benefits package.
