    Job Type: Full-Time

    Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and experienced CPA to join a dynamic team in Columbia, SC. The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of experience in tax accounting, with a strong background in preparing and reviewing complex tax returns. This is an on-site position that requires working five days a week in a Columbia office.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Prepare and file complex individual, corporate, partnership, and trust tax returns.

    • Analyze financial data to ensure tax compliance and identify potential tax-saving opportunities.

    • Conduct tax research to ensure adherence to current tax laws and regulations.

    • Review and maintain accurate records of tax filings, deductions, and credits.

    • Assist in managing the firm's tax compliance process and related documentation.

    • Provide guidance on tax planning strategies for clients, ensuring tax efficiency.

    • Collaborate with the accounting team to address and resolve any tax-related inquiries or issues.

    • Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations, ensuring that tax filings are in compliance.

    Qualifications:

    • 5-7 years of tax accounting experience, including experience with complex returns.

    • Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.

    • Proficiency in tax preparation software.

    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

    • Ability to communicate complex tax concepts clearly and effectively.

    • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

    • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA designation. 

    Requirements:

    • Must be available to work on-site in Columbia, SC, 5 days per week.

    • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
