Leading national healthcare network seeks an Accountant. This position is hybrid and must be within a commutable distance to Birmingham, Alabama.

Responsibilities:

• Record equity syndication and repurchase transactions.
• Ensure all partnership equity accounts and transactions are accurately recorded, reviewed, and reconciled.
• Validate net income and non-controlling interest expense aligns with partnership activity.
• Reconcile and authenticate ownership partnerships.
• Prepare and analyze the non-controlling interest equity roll-forward.
• Review and reconcile equity roll-forwards for consolidated and non-consolidated entities.
• Maintain critical relationships with internal/external stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain procedures to support timely and accurate partnership accounting.
• Prepare consolidated financial statements and contribute to monthly financial reporting packages.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (Finance may be considered with strong experience).
• A minimum of two years of accounting experience.
• CPA or CPA-track preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word.
• General ledger experience required; PeopleSoft familiarity is a plus.
• Strong understanding of equity accounting and general ledger functions.

Salary:

• $65,000 - $75,000 + 5% annual bonus
