Job Description
This is a hybrid position, so we are looking for candidates who are comfortable and available to come in to our office at 15955 La Cantera Pkwy San Antonio, TX 78256 2-3 days per week. Mondays and Fridays are work from home.
The Accountant I position performs routine accounting tasks and supports the Purchase to Pay (P2P) team as needed. This position is responsible for identifying issues and concerns within the scope and complexity of their job and elevating these to their team lead/manager. They can request guidance when decisions are outside established parameters. This role will support the businesses of Vericast.

Contact generally with senior P2P staff with some interaction with internal and external auditors. Limited contact with the business or Financial Planning & Analysis team. Must be able to communicate effectively both written and oral.
DECISION MAKING
Some decision making responsibility but required to offer recommendations in such a manner that will lead to final decisions.
Additional Information
Target base salary: $50,000-$65,000
The ultimate compensation offered for the position will depend upon several factors such as skill level, cost of living, experience, and responsibilities.
