Job Description
The Accountant III position analyzes, classifies, and reviews both routine and varying degrees of complex accounting transactions and interrelationships. Prepares interpretation of accounting results, reviews, and analyzes financial statements and documents for conformance with accounting policies and principles and may interact with operations, FP&A, and accounting management. Responsible for identifying issues and concerns within the scope and complexity of their job identifying solutions and presenting recommendations to Accounting management. Responsible for compliance with US GAAP and adherence with the control environment. Will participate in and support special projects. This role will support the businesses of Vericast.
This is a hybrid position, so we are looking for candidates who are comfortable and available to come into our office at 15955 La Cantera Pkwy San Antonio, TX 78256 at least 2 days per week. Mondays and Fridays are work from home.
** KEY DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES**
* **General Accounting:** Responsible for performing recurring technical financial projects that include fixed asset, lease, and subscription software license accounting. This could include limited interpretation of FASBs review of internal documentation recording relevant accounting transactions. Perform certain account reconciliations for completeness accuracy and conformance with accounting requirements and may review staff level work. Responsible for compliance with US GAAP and adherence with the control environment. Responsible for limited mentoring of staff level accountants. 25%

Additional Information
Salary range: $65,000 - $80,000
The ultimate compensation offered for the position will depend upon several factors such as skill level, cost of living, experience, and responsibilities.
