Accountant – International Accounting (Bilingual Spanish/English)

Role Overview:
We are looking for a bilingual (Spanish/English) Accountant with expertise in construction and project accounting. This position involves managing financial data, working closely with international teams, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. You'll play a key role in supporting operations, analyzing data, and improving financial processes for a diverse portfolio of projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with international accounting teams to review and reconcile financial data.
- Map financial data to centralized systems while ensuring compliance with US accounting standards.
- Analyze monthly financial activity and manage funding for ongoing projects.
- Assist with audits and ensure timely submission of required information.
- Identify and implement process improvements to streamline accounting workflows.
- Maintain accurate reconciliations between financial systems and sub-systems.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and support project lifecycle reporting.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of professional accounting experience.
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general ERP systems.
- Authorization to work in the US without employer sponsorship.
Preferred Skills:
- Fluency in Spanish is strongly preferred.
- Experience with international accounting operations.
- Background in multi-entity organizations or public accounting.
- Familiarity with project-based industries such as construction or energy.
- Exceptional organizational and deadline management skills.
- Ability to perform variance and trend analysis effectively.
