    Position Summary

    This position will be responsible for multiple areas of work. They will participate as a key member of the Accounting and Finance Team and will report to the Director of Accounting. You will be responsible for detailed Excel work and much of the creation and maintenance of the company's internal KPI type reporting to various departments, calculation of sales commissions, and monthly variance analysis of financial performance against forecasts and budgets. Finance duties will include the upkeep and maintenance of a forecast model, maintaining the company's investor deck, and the production and disbursement of monthly reporting to outside stakeholders. You will participate as a key member of the Accounting and Finance Team and will report to the Director of Accounting.

    Primary Responsibilities

    • Play a key role on the Accounting and Finance team.
    • Deep dive review of financial statements.
    • Responsible for Maintenance, circulation, and distribution of sales and management commission statements.
    • Participate in Payroll review and error prevention.
    • Managing, producing, and distributing daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports, for various departments and stakeholders.
    • Day-to-day upkeep and management of forecast files with a polished monthly issue.
    • Day-to-day upkeep management of the company's investor deck with a polished monthly issue.
    • Monthly maintenance and involvement in recast of company liquidity tools.
    • Production and distribution of Quarterly Financial Metrics.
    • Other tasks, projects, and monthly duties as assigned.

    Knowledge and Skill Requirements

    • 4-year degree in Accounting / Finance (Preferred)
    • 3+ years of professional experience in an Accounting or Finance role with heavy use of Excel and other reporting tools.
    • Experience with Salesforce.com is preferred.
    • Familiarity with Microsoft Power BI is preferred (a willingness to learn and master it in the role is a requirement).
    • Sound problem-solving with the ability to exercise sound judgment.
    • Outstanding work ethic and commitment.
    • A great attitude, willing to work hard and learn.
    • Must be able to execute effectively in a fast-paced work environment that demands results.
    • Experience in Specialty Finance preferred.
    • Ability to fulfill a full-time in-office position located in downtown Long Beach, CA

    Compensation:

    • $60,000-$70,000 annually
    • Full-Time (Monday – Friday), onsite in Long Beach, California
