Our client in seeking an Accountant who specializes in taxes to join their team in Anaheim. In this role, the Accountant will be responsible for managing and executing tax related accounting functions. Responsibilities:
Prepare and review tax filings for federal, state, and local returns.
Conduct month and year end fiscal closings.
Preparation of financial statements.
Conduct thorough tax analysis to ensure compliance with applicable regulations
Qualifications:
BS degree in Accounting, Finance, or related experience.
5+ years of accounting experience in the insurance industry with focus on tax.
Strong knowledge of GAAP.
Ability to work on a hybrid basis (3 days in the office and 2 days remote).
CPA certification is a huge plus.
Compensation:
Base salary to 95k/year plus annual bonus.
