Accountant Manufacturers Reserve Supply is seeking an experienced Accountant to assist with accounting functions.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

· Prepare and submit weekly and monthly reports; assist the Accounting Manager with monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial closing.

· Reconcile financial reports, including bank statements, general ledger accounts, and other related documents.

· Process expenses using Concur or similar expense management software.

· Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes.

· Monitor and manage accounts receivable and accounts payable, ensuring timely and accurate processing.

· Review and analyze financial data, identifying discrepancies and proposing corrective actions.

· Update and reconcile Fixed Assets and Insurance spreadsheets.

· Prepare quarterly and annual sales and fuel tax returns.

· Assist with the preparation of year end 1099 forms.

· Perform various other duties and special projects as assigned (i.e.UEZ Annual Reporting, submit monthly solar totals, etc.)

· Review and update standard operating procedures as needed.

· Provide backup support for the Accounting Department in the absence of team members.

· Ensure communications and actions are in alignment with our mission, vision and culture.

· Manage time effectively, meet personal goals and work effectively with other team members.

· Adhere to all Company policies and procedures. Hours: 7:30am - 3:30pm Monday - Friday

SKILL REQUIREMENTS

· 4 + years relevant experience working in accounting

· Excellent time management and organizational skills

· Must be able to learn quickly, have a strong attention to detail and be self-motivated

· Proficiency of MS Office, particularly Excel (vlookups, pivots).

· Knowledge of Quickbooks, SAP Concur

· Prior experience with Bank of America Cash Pro and/or Bill.com is a plus

EDUCATION

· Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance
