This position is accountable for providing leadership over the accounting systems and processes, financial analysis and assist in the operations and customer service processes. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and critical thinking skills, as well as a positive attitude. Duties include but are not limited to:
• Responsible for recording daily financial transactions, such as revenue, expenses, invoices and payments
• Responsible for keeping financial records up-to-date and accurate cash flow management
• Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank accounts
• Cross-train between companies and offer customer service and operational support when needed
• Process enrollments, refunds and terminations following company guidelines
• Compiles, analyzes and allocates costs among multiple entities and departments to assure accurate and complete financial reporting
• Reconcile accounts and identify discrepancies
• Communicate with customers and vendors, and work with accountants to ensure compliance
• Perform special projects and other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications:
• Thorough understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principals and the ability to apply that knowledge to daily duties
• Must be able to effectively handle multiple priorities simultaneously in a deadline driven environment
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve the goals of the organization
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products
• Proficient in Quickbooks
