Thompson First Group is currently seeking a qualified Accountant for a client in Sugar Grove, IL. 

This position would be contract length, lasting roughly 2 to 4 months. 

An Accountant will be responsible for the following:

• Explain Income Statement and Balance Sheet variances.
• Prepare, maintain, and understand balance sheet and income statement reconciliations.
• Conduct ad-hoc analyses as requested by management.
• Reconcile corporate bank accounts
• Inter-company accounting
• Cash reconciliation
• cash flow projections to upper management
• Heavy interaction with the Executive team (i.e. presenting financial reports)
• Provide support for systems integration project
• Sales and Use tax
• Provide support for sales team

Ideal Candidates will have the following experience:

• 5+ years of accounting experience
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
• Experience working with Quickbooks, SAP or Oracle
• Ability to prepare financial statements
• Come from a background working with equipment sales, construction or mechanical contracting
