We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant with a degree in Finance or Accounting to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing financial records, preparing reports, ensuring compliance with accounting regulations, and contributing to the overall financial health of the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including journals, ledgers, and bank reconciliations.
Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
Ensure timely and accurate filing of taxes, including VAT, sales tax, and corporate tax returns.
Monitor and manage company accounts, ensuring all transactions are recorded correctly.
Assist in the budgeting process by providing insights into financial trends and forecasts.
Collaborate with auditors during the year-end audit process to ensure compliance with accounting standards.
Analyze financial data to identify discrepancies or potential areas for improvement.
Assist in payroll processing and benefits administration.
Ensure compliance with accounting policies, internal controls, and financial regulations.
Participate in the preparation of management reports and assist senior management in financial decision-making.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (required).
Proven experience in accounting, finance, or a related role (6 months).
Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax regulations.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar).
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Ability to communicate complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with budgeting, financial forecasting, and variance analysis.
Familiarity with ERP systems and financial analysis tools.
Knowledge of international accounting standards (IFRS) is a plus.
