    Job Summary

    We are seeking a motivated and outgoing accountant/AP or HR specialist to join our team. In this role, you will provide support to our office employees, ensuring they have all the information and resources they need to perform their best. Your responsibilities will include working on quickbooks, bank and credit card reconciliation, and writing email correspondence. The ideal candidate is highly organized with excellent written and verbal communication skills and a friendly demeanor. Time efficient and can work with minimal or no supervision. Efficient in QB and excel, as well as some advanced knowledge in tax and bookkeeping.

    Responsibilities

    QB entry, payments to the vendors

    Order supplies and pay invoices

    Bank and credit card reconciliation

    Monthly/quarterly projection reports through QB

    Accounting and assist with timesheets and payroll

    Maintain an organized filing system

    Develop, update, and maintain relevant office procedures

    assist with tax corresponds and bookkeeping

    Qualifications

    5 years experience as an accountant, bookkeeper or HR specialist

    Excellent computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook,PowerPoint, Excel and Quickbooks

    Highly organized with excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize projects

    Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities

    Excellent organizational and leadership skills

    Familiarity with office management procedures and basic accounting principles

    Experience with Shop Monkey Auto Shop software would be a plus

    Qualifications in secretarial studies will be an advantage

    Willing to learn and adapt while being a team player

    High school diploma; BSc/BA in office administration or relevant field is preferred
