Key Responsibilities
Accounting & Financial Support:
Process and manage accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR).
Maintain general ledger entries and perform bank and credit card reconciliations.
Prepare financial reports, forecasts, and variance analyses.
Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures.
Support payroll processing, tax filings, and compliance reporting.
Handle client accounting inquiries, providing clear and professional support.
Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial planning.
Client Onboarding & Support:
Guide new clients through the accounting software setup process.
Train clients on how to use accounting software effectively.
Assist in migrating financial data into the accounting system.
Provide ongoing troubleshooting and technical support related to financial tools.
Ensure clients understand best practices for financial reporting and compliance.
Administrative & Project Management:
Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and office supply procurement.
Coordinate internal projects, ensuring deadlines, budgets, and deliverables are met.
Organize and maintain financial records, documentation, and compliance reports.
Assist with meeting scheduling, travel arrangements, and expense tracking.
Develop and optimize administrative processes for better efficiency.
Handle confidential and sensitive financial information with discretion.
Perform other general administrative tasks as needed to support daily operations.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
2–3 years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or financial administration.
Advanced Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros, financial modeling, and data analysis).
Strong knowledge of GAAP principles and financial reporting.
Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, NetSuite, or Sage).
Experience onboarding and training clients in accounting software.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Project management experience, including tracking budgets and timelines.
Ability to multitask, prioritize work, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Strong written and verbal communication skills for interacting with clients and internal teams.
Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have):
Experience with financial analysis and forecasting.
Background in compliance, tax preparation, or auditing.
Familiarity with ERP systems or financial databases.
Project management certification (e.g., PMP, CAPM) is a plus.
