    JEFFRIES Management Company, Inc is NOW HIRING for an "Accounting Administrator" to manage a wide range of functions necessary to successfully complete projects associated with Jeffries Management Company's, large portfolio base.

    Compensation: $19-21/Hr. Depending on experience.

    This is a full-time position, working 8:00 a.m.– 5:00 p.m., Monday–Friday, 40 hours per week. This position requires flexibility, as there might be times where overtime is needed.

    Qualifications:

    3+ year(s) of experience with QuickBooks Online (most recent versions)

    Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, including proper pronunciation and grammar, and a consistently courteous and professional tone of voice at all times

    Polite, confident, and excellent customer service skills, including listening and questioning skills

    Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail

    Very self-motivated and goal-oriented

    Ability to multi-task

    Capability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented office environment

    Proficiency in Microsoft Office (i.e., Outlook, Word, Excel)

    Ability to learn new software, including Xactimate® and proprietary software

    Associate degree in accounting preferred or strong professional background of 2-3 years bookkeeping experience

    Ability to successfully complete a background check subject to applicable law

    Dealing with Insurance Adjusters is a big +

    Summary of Responsibilities:

    Maintain accurate records in QuickBooks®

    Create financial reports and perform analysis

    Dealing with Insurance Carriers and requesting COI's.

    Follow up with Insurance companies on when reports and audits are due

    Tracking/Monitoring and delivering information being requested by adjusters

    Monitor and maintain inventory, fixed assets, and business resume

    Maintain tax, insurance, and compliance requirements

    Maintain vendors, resources, and subcontractors

    Complete accounts payable activities

    Complete accounts receivable activities

    Prepare and maintain cash management reports

    Perform technology backups

    Perform technology setup, protection, and tracking

    Gather and coordinate hardware and software requirements

    Maintain relationships with technology vendors
