A prestigious private equity fund management organization seeks an Accounting Analyst to join their dynamic team. This position will act oversee and ensure the accuracy and timely completion of company’s finance and accounting deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Shadow, review, and/or prepare fund financials, property financials, and operating financials
• Calculate management fees and carried interest
• Prepare capital calls and distribution notices
• Monitor and project cash needs
• Oversee the audits of various entities and investments
• Liaise with tax accountants and coordinate tax filings
• Research tax and accounting developments
• Track and review portfolio investments
• Track and review debt covenants with lenders
• Create and maintain accounting policies and procedures
• Support the asset valuation process
• Troubleshoot finance and accounting issues
• Undertake ad hoc requests

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Accounting or Finance from a four-year college or university
• 2-3 years of experience at a private equity, hedge fund, fund administrator, audit firm, or CPA firm
• CPA a plus

• A strong understanding of U.S. GAAP, particularly fund and partnership accounting
