    Reports to: Director of Accounting FLSA Status: Hourly (Non-Exempt) Hours per week: 40 hours, Full-time Campus: Melbourne

    Job Summary: This position provides school billing and general accounting support to the Calvary Chapel Academy accounting team.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities: • Assist with Student Billing and Accounts Maintenance • Maintain student files and reports (1 Corinthians 14:40) • Customer Service to parents and School staff inquires (James 2:18) • Assist with Parent Account Collections (Galatians 6:9) • Assist with post school and scholarship payments (1 Peter 4:10) • Assist with processing student withdrawals • Accounts payable processing • Work with various scholarship programs (Proverbs 16:3) • Assist CCA accounting team members, as needed (1 Thessalonians 5:11) • Other duties as assigned by supervisor (Colossians 3:23)

    Job Skills and Competencies: • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written with the ability to deal with sensitive issues while exercising good knowledge of proper grammar and punctuation • Proven proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite including Excel and Word • Some proficiency in accounting software • Some Bookkeeping knowledge and skills (1 Peter 5:2-3) • Ability to maintain confidentiality of information • Ability to stay calm in stressful situations (1 Kings 9:4) • A dependable team player who works well with people at all levels of the organization
