  • Responsibilities

    A growing technology services firm is seeking a motivated Accounting Assistant to support day-to-day finance operations. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, detail-driven environment and enjoys working across multiple areas of accounting.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Process vendor invoices, manage recurring payments, and ensure timely disbursements

    • Generate and send customer invoices; monitor accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding balances

    • Reconcile credit card statements and ensure accurate transaction coding

    • Post payments and assist with bank reconciliations and cash receipts

    • Support monthly and year-end close by preparing journal entries and account reconciliations

    • Track and compile employee expense reimbursements for payroll

    • Collaborate with internal teams to address billing questions and resolve discrepancies

    • Maintain organized financial records for audit readiness and reporting accuracy

    • Assist in preparing monthly financial reports and summaries for leadership review

    • Uphold data integrity and confidentiality in all financial processes

    Ideal Candidate:

    • Hands-on experience in accounting support or bookkeeping

    • Comfortable with ERP systems (QuickBooks a plus) and Microsoft Excel

    • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills

    • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
