    The Accounting Associate purpose is to manage day-to-day book-keeping, accounts receivable and accounts payable functionality.

    This role will be based at EES LA.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Accounts Payable & Receivable:

    Process invoices, purchase orders, and expense reports for timely payments.

    Track and reconcile incoming payments from clients, production companies, and vendors.

    Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions related to stage rentals, equipment rentals, and services.

    Assist in resolving discrepancies and communicating with vendors and clients regarding billing inquiries.

    Payroll & Financial Processing:

    Assist with payroll processing, ensuring accuracy of timekeeping records and compliance with labor laws.

    Reconcile bank statements, credit card transactions, and petty cash accounts.

    Support month-end and year-end closing procedures, including journal entries and reconciliations.

    Financial Reporting & Compliance:

    Prepare financial reports, summaries, and forecasts as needed.

    Assist with budget tracking and cost analysis for various productions and facility operations.

    Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal accounting regulations and tax laws.

    Work with external auditors and tax professionals during audits and tax preparation.

    General Accounting & Administrative Support:

    Maintain organized financial records, both digital and physical.

    Assist with contract review related to client billing and vendor payments.

    Support management with ad-hoc financial projects and analysis.

    Experience with AVID, RTPRO is desired. Salary Range: $65-75,000.00
