Job Description:
As an Entry-Level Accounting Associate for Waterworks Aquatics, you will provide basic bookkeeping assistance, such as data entry, account reconciliation, weekly retail cash deposits, processing refunds / voids, assisting our staff with troubleshooting client accounts, and other tasks as required by the accounting department.
Primary Responsibilities:
Review of Daily Payment Receipts
Uploading Daily Payments File to QuickBooks
Review Uploaded Revenue for Accuracy
Daily processing of Refunds/Voids
Assist with Troubleshooting Client Swim Accounts
Weekly Cash Deposit Project
Record & Deposit Misc. Checks
Review Physical Therapy Usage Reports for Accuracy
Create and Maintain Excel Spreadsheets Related to your Projects
Review Chargeback Notifications and Summarize for Mgt Direction
Compile Periodic Reports
Collaborate with supervisors and other accounting associates to complete various accounting and administrative tasks
General Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED Equivalent required
Associate degree in accounting, finance, or a related field preferred
Experience with QuickBooks is highly desirable
Competency in Microsoft Office including Excel, Word and Outlook
Showcase a grasp of basic accounting principles, practices and have an aptitude for numbers
General math skills
Excellent time management, analytical and organizational skills
Attention to detail and thoroughness
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Able to showcase honesty, integrity and confidentiality
