Full Job Description
We are looking for a skilled Bookkeeper to support our financial records. This position is for an in house position, services and CPA firms please do not apply.
Bookkeeper job duties include purchases, invoicing, payments, working closely with management team to create and analyze financial reports and ensure legal requirements compliance, process accounts payable and receivable and manage invoices and tax payments. Our ideal candidate has an upbeat attitude and enjoy working in a fast passed environment.
Ultimately, the Bookkeeper’s responsibilities are to accurately record all day-to-day financial transactions of our company.
Responsibilities
Record day to day financial transactions and complete the posting process.
Verify that transactions are recorded in QuickBooks, supplier’s ledger, customer ledger and general ledger.
Bring the books to the trial balance stage.
Perform partial checks of the posting process.
Prepare 1099 / 1096 tax forms for CPA.
Enter data, keep records, and create reports and financial statements.
Can employees and Management depend on you to get payroll completed on time and accurately?
Detailed inventory management needed.
Requirements
Proven bookkeeping experience, solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable/receivable principles proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records.
Data entry skills along with a knack for numbers.
Hands-on experience with spreadsheets.
Proficiency MS Office.
High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
Hands-on experience with Inventory and ordering.
