Burgoon Company is seeking a highly motivated and versatile individual to join our team as an Accounting Clerk in Pittsburg, TX. The ideal candidate will be responsible for a variety of accounting tasks, including but not limited to:

• Entering daily cash, ACH, and check deposits into the accounting system.
• Conducting research on payment inquiries as needed to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
• Performing accounts receivable (AR) research and account cleanup to maintain accurate records.
• Managing customer collections to ensure timely payments and reduce outstanding balances.
• Conducting daily cash reconciliation to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records.
• Processing accounts payable (A/P) payments and corresponding with vendors as necessary.
• Reconciling credit card payments to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Conducting accounts payable aging reconciliation to monitor and manage outstanding payments.

Qualifications:

● 1-2 years of experience in accounting or finance.

● Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.

● Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

● Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
