  • Responsibilities

    Objective of the Position:

    Help ensure accurate and timely entry of accounting information into ERP System, accounts payable, account receivable, Inventory, purchasing and maintain US GAAP standards. Assist in analysis of financial and production results. Help maintain accounting guidelines as set forth by corporate policy. As well as assist in daily office functions, which may include customer service.

    Responsibilities:

    Accounts Payable

    • ****Code invoices to proper account, obtain approval, key invoices to ERP system
    • Maintain electronic customer and vendor files
    • Work with vendors on open invoices and Remittance Advice

    Accounts Receivable

    • Issue Invoices / Credit memos
    • Post customer payments to ERP system
    • Work with customers on aged receivables and statements

    Inventory Control

    • Work with Director of Finance to monitor levels and demand
    • Initiate cycle counts with warehouse and Production Supervisor
    • Notify purchasing when materials seem to be running low
    • Create / Maintain Bills of Material

    Purchasing

    • Monitor open purchase orders

    Other Responsibilities

    • Maintain Fixed Asset files
    • Reconcile bank accounts
    • Assist in budgeting and audits
    • Assist with office, customer service as needed
    • Other duties as assigned

    Requirements:

    • Associates Degree in Accounting / or High School Diploma with Accounting Certificate and 1 year experience / or High School Diploma and 3 years accounting experience.
    • Experience with or understanding of Manufacturing Accounting as opposed to General Accounting.
    • Basic Knowledge of US GAAP
    • MS Office Proficiency including charts, graphs, pivot tables, etc
    • Good report writing and verbal communications skills.
    • Good analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Able to work individually or with a team.
    • Bi-lingual Spanish or German a plus.
