We are looking for a dedicated Cash Management Specialist to join our team and help us maintain and enhance our financial operations.

    Position Summary:

    The Cash Management Specialist position will be responsible for overseeing and auditing all aspects of daily cash handling at the store level. This position is crucial to ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of daily cash and credit card deposits, identifying and addressing discrepancies and any other related issues, and maintaining clean and clear records. This position will need to develop and maintain strong relationships with banking partners and the Operations Team. The ideal candidate for this position will be detail oriented, have strong analytical skills, and be a team player. The candidate should be able to work under the pressure of deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Daily cash/ credit cards deposits audit for the assigned stores;
    • Analyze and identify any discrepancies between bank data and the store records; work with the stores management, review bank deposits, and internal POS system to resolve any issues; keep clear records of findings;
    • Prepare weekly reports for the Operations Team meeting to include the details of cash audit findings (discrepancies, missed deposits, chargebacks, etc.);
    • Provide support to the stores on cash handling procedures and credit card machines;
    • Issue refunds to customers as requested and initiate collection procedures for payments not received;
    • Order bank related supplies for the stores (deposit books, bank bags, credit card machines, deposit cards, etc.);
    • Ad hoc tasks and reports will be assigned as needed. All Cash Management team members have designated tasks to help the team as a whole (bank downloads, various internal systems uploads/ downloads, etc.);
    • Cross train with other Cash Management team members to ensure adequate coverage during staff absences.

    Qualifications:

    • Previous experience in a similar position is preferred;
    • Intermediate level in MS Excel;
    • Proficient in MS Applications;
    • Strong attention to detail, excellent problem solving and analytical skills, and accuracy;
    • Strong oral and written communication and interpersonal skills;
    • Ability to work independently as well as a part of a team;
    • Experience in the retail industry is preferred.
