The Applied Companies is seeking a dedicated Accounting Clerk for a medical manufacturing client. In this Temp-to-Hire role, you will be responsible for timely input of A/P and A/R. This position will also be responsible for maintaining efficient internal controls, adherence to accounting policies and other company policies, all A/P and A/R functions, and other related job duties.
What the Accounting Clerk will do:
- Data Entry: Accurately input and update financial data, including invoices, billing statements, and payment records.
- Data Verification: Regularly verify the accuracy of entered data against source documents to ensure consistency and correctness.
- File Management: Maintain organized and secure filing systems for financial records, ensuring easy access to documents.
- Report Support: Assist the finance team in preparing periodic reports and data analysis, providing necessary support as needed.
- Customer Queries: Respond to internal and external inquiries regarding financial data, providing relevant information.
- Policy Compliance: Adhere to company financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance.
- Experience in customer service and/or a high-pressure, multitask environment
What the Accounting Clerk will need to have:
- High school diploma or equivalent ( required )
- Accounting or finance-related field preferred (QuickBooks and ERP System skills)
- 1+ years of experience in data entry or as an accounting assistant is a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Attention to detail and the ability to handle large volumes of data efficiently
- Good communication skills and a team player attitude
- Proficiency in Chinese (preferred)
