  • Responsibilities

    The Applied Companies is seeking a dedicated Accounting Clerk for a medical manufacturing client. In this Temp-to-Hire role, you will be responsible for timely input of A/P and A/R. This position will also be responsible for maintaining efficient internal controls, adherence to accounting policies and other company policies, all A/P and A/R functions, and other related job duties.

    What the Accounting Clerk will do:

    • Data Entry: Accurately input and update financial data, including invoices, billing statements, and payment records.
    • Data Verification: Regularly verify the accuracy of entered data against source documents to ensure consistency and correctness.
    • File Management: Maintain organized and secure filing systems for financial records, ensuring easy access to documents.
    • Report Support: Assist the finance team in preparing periodic reports and data analysis, providing necessary support as needed.
    • Customer Queries: Respond to internal and external inquiries regarding financial data, providing relevant information.
    • Policy Compliance: Adhere to company financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance.
    • Experience in customer service and/or a high-pressure, multitask environment

    What the Accounting Clerk will need to have:

    • High school diploma or equivalent ( required )
    • Accounting or finance-related field preferred (QuickBooks and ERP System skills)
    • 1+ years of experience in data entry or as an accounting assistant is a plus.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
    • Strong organizational and time management skills
    • Attention to detail and the ability to handle large volumes of data efficiently
    • Good communication skills and a team player attitude
    • Proficiency in Chinese (preferred)
