Job Description
The Accounting Clerk will play a vital role in supporting the company’s accounting operations through clerical and administrative tasks. This role involves financial record-keeping, data entry, bookkeeping, invoice tracking, and assisting in financial reporting. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, analytical, and proficient in financial procedures and software.
Key Responsibilities
- Organize and process financial transactions, including data entry, document sorting, and digital/cash transactions.
- Prepare month-end reports and reconcile transactions, budgets, and expense reports.
- Maintain accurate financial filing systems for efficient record-keeping.
- Track loans, credit balances, and accounts payable details through balance sheets.
- Assist in preparing financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Ensure the accuracy of financial documents and compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Input financial data into accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP).
- Reconcile accounts, balance the general ledger, and reconcile bank statements.
- Identify discrepancies and report findings to management.
- Assist with internal and external audits.
- Support software updates for accounting systems and recommend enhancements.
- Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.
- Assist with special projects and ad-hoc reporting as needed.
- Adhere to company policies regarding overtime authorization and scheduling.
Work Environment
- Ability to sit for long periods and occasionally lift office supplies (up to 20 lbs).
- Maintain a structured and organized workspace.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and adhere to financial compliance standards.
Additional Information

Salary Range : $22 - $30 per hour
