    Payroll Coordinator – Television Production Services

    (Remote)

    A leading provider of production staffing and support for the television industry is seeking a Payroll Coordinator to join their close-knit team. With an international reach, this company helps major networks produce video coverage across the U.S. and around the world.

    The Payroll Coordinator will manage payroll, billing, invoicing, reconciliations and administrative tasks. The ideal candidate has strong accounting acumen and experience working in QuickBooks and Excel. At least three years of accounting experience is preferred for this position. This role collaborates and reports directly to the Accounting Manager.

    Payroll Coordinator Responsibilities:

    • Process bi-monthly payroll
    • Handle new hires, tax liabilities, garnishments, and union reports.
    • Ensure compliance with E-Verify, NY Disability, and union requirements.
    • Prepare digital show folders for invoicing and payroll approvals.
    • Review time cards, budgets, and union contracts for accuracy.
    • Respond to emails and calls promptly.
    • Assist with year-end filings (1099s, 1095s, W-2s).
    • Complete additional tasks as assigned by management.

    Payroll Coordinator Qualifications:

    • At least 3 years of accounting experience, including payroll.
    • Proficiency in QuickBooks, and Excel.
    • Associate’s degree in Accounting or equivalent coursework.
