Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounting/HR Specialist to manage the financial and human resource functions of our organization. This role is ideal for a professional with a strong background in accounting, payroll processing, benefits administration, and compliance with employment laws. The Accounting/HR Specialist will play a key role in ensuring the company's financial health and fostering a positive work environment.
Key Responsibilities
Accounting Responsibilities:
Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
Reconcile bank statements and financial records to ensure accuracy.
Prepare and maintain financial reports, budgets, and forecasts.
Process payable and receivable invoices, expense reports, and reimbursements.
Assist in tax preparation and compliance with financial regulations.
Maintain general ledger and financial documentation.
Manage overdue accounts and collection activities.
Human Resources Responsibilities:
Administer payroll, including processing employee wages, taxes, and deductions.
Manage employee records, benefits enrollment, and compliance with labor laws.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
Qualifications & Skills
Minimum of 1 year of experience in accounting and HR functions.
Proficiency in accounting software QuickBooks and Google sheets.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, payroll processing, tax regulations, and financial processes.
Excellent organizational and analytical skills with attention to detail.
Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and discretion.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
