Job Description
The Accounting Manager will be responsible for overseeing the general ledger, coordinating with a Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) partner, supporting tax and accounting audits, with support to local and international teams to ensure accurate and compliant financial reporting. Core responsibilities include:
- Oversee the general ledger and ensure all financial transactions are recorded accurately and in compliance with company policies and procedures
- Coordinates with the BPO partner to ensure timely and accurate processing of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and other financial transactions
- Support tax and accounting audits by providing necessary documentation, reconciliations, and explanations of financial data
- Coordinate with local and international teams to ensure consistency and accuracy in financial reporting across different regions
- Review and analyze financial statements and reports to identify discrepancies or areas for improvement
- Prepare and present financial reports to senior management and provide insights and recommendations for improving financial performance
- Collaborate closely with the Treasury department to manage cash flow, liquidity, and financial risk management
- Manage and mentor a team of accounting professionals, providing guidance and support as needed
- Support internal controls and procedures to ensure the integrity of financial data and compliance with regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with other departments to support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities
- Stay current with accounting standards and regulations and ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations
