Our client, a leading company in the manufacturing industry, is seeking an Accounting Manager to oversee daily accounting operations and support financial reporting. This role works closely with the Controller and manages the AP/AR team to ensure accuracy and efficiency in financial processes.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the AP/AR team, ensuring smooth daily operations.
• Lead month-end and year-end close processes, including reconciliations and financial reporting.
• Prepare and review journal entries in compliance with GAAP.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies.
• Collaborate with auditors during financial audits.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of accounting experience, including team management.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and month-end close processes.
• Proficiency in journal entry management and financial reconciliations.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite preferred).
• CPA certification (or progress toward it) is a plus.
• Prior experience in manufacturing or related industries is highly desirable.
