    Accounting Manager Responsibilities:

    • Analyze and report financial information such as AP Aging, AR Aging, and Payroll Accuracy.
    • Provide recommendations based on thorough analysis of accounting data.
    • Prepare financial reports, including statements, monthly WIP, balance sheets, and profit & loss statements.
    • Process tax payments and returns, acting as the point of contact for tax-related audits.
    • Track bank ACH payments and activity, balancing bank statements.
    • Enter manual checks for ACH entries and compile asset, liability, and capital account entries.
    • Analyze and reconcile financial transactions (AP, AR, Billing & Payroll).
    • Contribute to the implementation of new accounting policies and guidelines.
    • Identify and address areas for improvement in the accounting department.
    • Ensure compliance with applicable standards, rules, regulations, and internal control systems.

    Accounting Manager Qualifications:

    • 3+ years of accounting experience including at least 2 years of general ledger experience.
    • Must have at least 1 year of Construction accounting experience (job costing, WIP schedules).
    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or combinations of equivalent experience and education.

    Compensation: $85,000 - $100,000 (DOE)
