  • Responsibilities

    The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in financial reporting for privately held businesses and a proven ability to manage audit preparations. Working closely with the CFO and external auditors, the Financial Controller will play a key role in ensuring compliance and facilitating seamless audit processes.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Direct the company's financial operations and ensure the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting.
    • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP.
    • Design, implement, and maintain robust internal controls to protect company assets and meet regulatory requirements.
    • Lead budgeting and forecasting initiatives, tracking performance against financial goals.
    • Analyze financial data to support strategic planning and informed decision-making.
    • Serve as the primary liaison with external auditors, tax advisors, and other financial stakeholders.
    • Manage cash flow, banking relationships, and financing activities.
    • Streamline and enhance financial processes and systems for improved efficiency.
    • Mentor and guide the finance team, fostering a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous growth.
    • Oversee audit preparation by coordinating and delivering required schedules, workpapers, and documentation.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline; CPA or CMA certification is a plus.
    • At least three years of experience in financial management, ideally within a manufacturing setting.
    • Comprehensive understanding of accounting principles, including cost accounting and inventory management.
    • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with a talent for interpreting complex financial data.
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively across organizational levels.
    • Advanced proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
    • Demonstrated leadership skills and a history of developing high-performing teams.
    • Adaptability and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

    $90,000 per year
