As our Accounting Manager, you’ll play a critical role in overseeing financial operations, ensuring compliance, and providing strategic insights to support our growth objectives. You will collaborate closely with the executive leadership team and other department managers to streamline processes, enhance financial reporting, and contribute to the company’s mission-driven success. The Accounting Manager advocates as the liaison between clients, vendors, and cross-functional internal teams to ensure timely and successful delivery of accounts receivables and accounts payables. Assist with strategic planning initiatives to meet organizational goals. • Adaptable & Confident: You navigate changing priorities with ease and inspire trust in others. Oversee accounts receivables and payables, ensuring compliance and timely delivery. Responsibilities: This role combines financial leadership with operational oversight. • Financial Oversight : Oversee accounts payable and receivable functions, manage tax filings, and financial audits, and ensure compliance with GAAP, accounting standards, and company policies. • Client Services and Collaboration : Provide financial guidance, meet and strive to exceed client expectations, and maintain effective communication with executives, managers, and all departments to ensure alignment and success. • Process Improvement and Reporting : Streamline cash flow processes, create goals and metrics, and collaborate with executive leadership to build accounting dashboards and KPIs to enhance efficiency and track performance using accounting and CRM software. • Compliance & Documentation: Maintain accurate records, ensure compliance with insurance, tax exemption, and subcontractor documentation, and adhere to federal, state, and local regulations. • Leadership & Team Management: Lead and supervise the accounting team, delegate tasks, hire, train, and develop staff while fostering strong relationships with customers, vendors, and team members. Qualifications: Core CompetenciesTechnical Expertise : In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, tax laws, and financial reporting standards. Skilled in using accounting and CRM software like Service Titan to manage financial data, build dashboards, and enhance operational efficiency. • Leadership Skills : Proven ability to lead, motivate, and manage a team effectively. Demonstrates strong leadership by supervising, delegating, and developing team members while fostering a positive and collaborative work environment. • Analytical Mindset : Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on data-driven decision-making. Deep knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP), tax laws, financial audits, and compliance requirements, ensuring accurate and timely financial operations. • Attention to Detail : Exceptional accuracy in financial operations and reporting. Exceptional ability to maintain accurate documentation, adhere to deadlines, and execute tasks with precision while adapting to evolving company needs. • Communication: Clear and professional communication skills for internal and external stakeholders. Strong interpersonal skills to effectively engage with customers, vendors, executives, and team members, ensuring alignment and mutual success. Qualifications and Skills • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or CMA preferred). • Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting management. • Proficiency in accounting software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite. • Demonstrated success in managing Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable while managing a team of 1-5 people • Strong understanding of regulatory compliance and financial audits. Compensation: $85,000 - $95,000
