    The Accounting Manager will have the ability to excel under pressure and meet the deadlines required. The Accounting Manager will also play a crucial role in overseeing the financial operations for a well-established Mental Health facility. This position requires the capability to lead and develop the accounting staff team as well as profound knowledge in key areas such as budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.

    Key Responsibilities Include:

    Assure financial reports are accurate and presented in a timely manner.

    Oversee grant and contract billing.

    Compose budgets and narrative for grants.

    Attend monthly board meetings to effectively communicate and present the critical financial matters to the Board of Trustees

    Assist with the coordination of fundraising events.

    Update and implement all necessary business policies and accounting practices with current best practices.

    Retain fiscal contract management and reporting system; ensure contract billing and collection schedule is adhered to, and financial data and cash flow are steady and support operational requirements.

    Manage and review all financial plans and budgets; monitor progress and changes and keep the CEO abreast of the organization’s financial status.

    Organize and lead the annual audit process.

    Administer organizational cash flow and forecasting.

    Monitor residents fund account.

    Retains knowledge of acceptable accounting practices and procedures.

    Additional tasks and duties as assigned.

    Qualifications and Requirement:

    Education & Experience

    · Bachelor’s degree in finance and or accounting required.

    · At least five years of finance and accounting experience.

    · QuickBooks online experience.

    · Proficient with Microsoft Office and accounting software.

    · Excellent communication, people and organizational skills
