    Dynamic Role & Responsibilities:

    • Oversee key financial operations such as budgeting, forecasting, job costing, and project accounting.

    Your Role as Accounting Manager:
    As the Accounting Manager, you’ll oversee the company's financial health, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and strategic financial planning. Responsibilities include:

    • Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger.
    • Maintain accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.
    • Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
    • Develop, implement, and monitor budgets and financial forecasts.
    • Provide data-driven recommendations for cost control and operational improvements.
    • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal tax regulations.
    • Coordinate with external auditors or accountants for year-end tax filings and audits.
    • Monitor and manage cash flow to ensure operational liquidity.
    • Oversee invoicing, billing, collections, and payroll processing.
    • Track and analyze job costs, ensuring projects stay within budget.
    • Collaborate with project managers on budgets, forecasts, and performance.
    • Utilize ERP tools to manage accounting and finance operations.

    What We’re Looking For:

    • 5+ years of accounting experience, including 2+ years in a managerial role.
    • Experience in construction accounting or job costing preferred.
    • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) and Microsoft Excel.
    • Analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills.
    • Detail-oriented and highly organized.
    • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
    • Knowledge GAAP.
    • Experience with ERP systems and financial reporting tools.

    Non Negotiable Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred but not required.
    • Must live within commuting distance of San Jose, CA, for in-office collaboration as needed.
    • Construction Accounting experience will considered above other industries
