- Oversee key financial operations such as budgeting, forecasting, job costing, and project accounting.

Your Role as Accounting Manager:
As the Accounting Manager, you’ll oversee the company's financial health, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and strategic financial planning. Responsibilities include:
- Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger.
- Maintain accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
- Develop, implement, and monitor budgets and financial forecasts.
- Provide data-driven recommendations for cost control and operational improvements.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal tax regulations.
- Coordinate with external auditors or accountants for year-end tax filings and audits.
- Monitor and manage cash flow to ensure operational liquidity.
- Oversee invoicing, billing, collections, and payroll processing.
- Track and analyze job costs, ensuring projects stay within budget.
- Collaborate with project managers on budgets, forecasts, and performance.
- Utilize ERP tools to manage accounting and finance operations.
What We’re Looking For:
- 5+ years of accounting experience, including 2+ years in a managerial role.
- Experience in construction accounting or job costing preferred.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) and Microsoft Excel.
- Analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills.
- Detail-oriented and highly organized.
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Knowledge GAAP.
- Experience with ERP systems and financial reporting tools.
Non Negotiable Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred but not required.
- Must live within commuting distance of San Jose, CA, for in-office collaboration as needed.
- Construction Accounting experience will considered above other industries
