Key Responsibilities

Accounts Payable (A/P): Process, review, and record vendor invoices and payments.

Incoming Payments: Accurately enter and allocate incoming payments using Clio.

Accounts Receivable (A/R): Monitor outstanding client invoices, follow up on overdue accounts, and help maintain positive cash flow.

Trust Accounting: Manage trust accounts in compliance with legal and ethical guidelines, ensuring accuracy and timely reconciliations.

Financial Software Expertise: Utilize QuickBooks (QB) and Clio to ensure accurate and up-to-date financial records.

Potential Management Role: Demonstrate leadership potential to step into a larger supervisory role as the firm continues to grow.

Administrative & Paralegal Support (Preferred): Paralegal experience is a plus and may include assisting attorneys with administrative and legal tasks as needed.

Qualifications

Proficiency in QuickBooks and Clio (required).

Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or a related financial role.

Experience with trust accounting in a legal environment is highly desirable.

Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

Strong communication skills to work collaboratively with attorneys, support staff, and clients.

Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive financial information with discretion and integrity.

Paralegal experience or training is a plus but not required.
