Required Competencies, Qualifications and Skills:
High School Degree and 2 + years of related work experience in general accounting, A/P, A/R or payroll.
Proven understanding and practice of general accounting practices and procedures.
Thorough understanding of the payroll process including payroll taxes, 401k and various deduction types highly desired.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Fluent reading, writing, and communication skills.
Responsibilities:
Provide Accounting and clerical assistance to the Accounting Department.
Prepare and analzye account reconciliations.
Prepare bank deposits and general ledger postings.
Actively participate in month-end and year-end close, financial reviews, and 401k audits.
Analyze and process inbound invoices.
Maintain payroll information by collecting, calculating, and entering data including the uploading of mime and attendance data. Paylocity experience a plus.
Back-up payroll administrator.
