    Grote Automotive seeks a detail-oriented, reliable, and organized Accounting Specialist to join our team. This individual will play a key role in supporting our accounting department by ensuring the accuracy of financial records, processing transactions, and assisting the controller. Responsibilities: • Stocking and payment of new and used vehicle inventory • Post accounting entries related to dealership transactions with tight month-end closing deadlines • Process company credit card transactions and reconcile credit card accounts • Process and maintain dealership financial transactions, including accounts payable/receivable • Process payments, refunds, and various inquiries • Maintain W9 files and prepare 1099s annually • Communicate internally and externally to resolve accounting discrepancies • Manage and organize financial documents, both digitally and physically • Order office supplies and printer/copier toners Qualifications: • Associate’s degree in accounting or finance preferred • Previous experience in automotive dealership accounting or a related field is a plus • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and procedures • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and dealership management software • Ability to handle sensitive financial data with confidentiality and integrity • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written Compensation: $52,000 -$65,000 yearly
