    Located on the edge of beautiful Lake Coeur D'Alene, the Hagadone Marine Center is the largest on-water boat dealership in Coeur D'Alene, Spokane, and the Pacific Northwest region. We are looking for an Accounting Specialist to join our Accounting Department. It's a busy office, and the pace is fast. We need someone who has great account reconciliation and Microsoft Excel skills, as well as the ability to move quickly to keep a handle on the volume of work. Primary job responsibilities and qualifications are listed below. The Accounting Specialist will report directly to the Accounting Supervisor. This is not a remote position.

    Responsibilities:

    • Record and reconcile cash receipts daily
    • Work with billing to ensure timely delivery of customer invoices
    • Process payments received from customers - mail and phone
    • Follow up with customers regarding unpaid invoices
    • Generate customer account statements and past due letters on a monthly basis
    • Assist in preparing reports related to accounts receivable activities
    • Assist in reconciling internal receivable accounts, including warranty receivables
    • Assist with special projects and initiatives as assigned by management

    Qualifications:

    • Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance or a minimum of 2 years related experience
    • Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
    • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Quickbooks, SAP, or similar)
    • Excellent attention to detail
    • Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and problem-solving skills
    • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and / or Google Sheets
