    About the Position

    Under the general supervision of the Sr. Manager of Accounting, this position will perform daily accounting tasks to support the Accounting, Financial and Operational teams for a fast growing, multi-location company.

    Essential Functions

    Manage accounts payable process

    Manage credit card users across all locations

    Perform bank and credit card account reconciliations

    Pull reports and record income from childcare management platform

    Ensure necessary documents and records are in place for reconciling general ledger accounts and audits

    Assist Accounting Manager with month end close activities

    Assist in the preparation of internal and external financial reporting as needed

    Work Environment

    The business hours for this position are Monday – Friday, with occasional need for weekends and evenings for various events. The expectation will be that the team member work from the Mission Team Headquarters Tuesday – Thursday.

    Required Education and Experience

    A minimum of 3 years of experience with accounting functions is required.

    Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Business Administration, or related field is preferred.

    Proficiency with Sage Intacct is required.

    Experience with Bill.com, Bill Spend & Expense is preferred.

    Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite required.

    Ability to work independently with little supervision or openly with a team.

    Ability to organize and prioritize effectively.
