Job Title: Accounting Supervisor
Job Summary
The Accounting Supervisor will play a key role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the accounting department and ensuring accurate and Handling the HR matters. Reporting directly to the Accounting Manager, this position supervises a team of accountants and accounting clerks, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as maintaining the integrity of the financial data.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervision of Accounting Staff:
- Oversee a team of accountants and clerks in daily accounting tasks, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processing.
- Assist in training and mentoring accounting staff to improve efficiency and ensure adherence to best practices.
- Month-End and Year-End Close:
- Manage and perform various accounting tasks related to month-end and year-end close processes, including reviewing journal entries, reconciling accounts, and ensuring accurate financial reporting.
- Internal Controls and Compliance:
- Monitor and maintain internal controls to safeguard the company’s financial data and assets.
- Ensure that accounting processes comply with internal policies and external regulations, such as tax laws and auditing requirements.
- Process Improvement:
- Identify areas for improvement within the accounting processes and suggest initiatives to streamline workflows, reduce errors, and increase overall efficiency.
- Accounts Reconciliation:
- Oversee account reconciliations, ensuring that discrepancies are investigated and resolved promptly.
- Ensure that balance sheet accounts are accurately reconciled on a timely basis.
- Coordination with Other Departments:
- Work closely with other departments to ensure that financial information is accurately recorded and reported.
- Assist in resolving any issues related to invoices, payments, or other financial matters.
- Payroll and Benefits:
- Ensure that payroll is processed accurately and on time
-Supports recruitment, onboarding, maintains employee records, assists with benefits administration, and helps coordinate company policies and employee relations.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
Experience: At least 3 years of experience in accounting, 1 year of experience in HR, with a minimum of 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role.
Language. Chinese require
Skills:
Strong understanding of GAAP and accounting principles.
Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, ) and Microsoft Excel.
Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
Strong leadership and communication abilities.
