Job Purpose The Accounting Assistant will provide management with financial information by researching and analyzing accounts, preparing journal entries and account reconciliations.
What you will do:
Perform monthly close processes and account reconciliations in support of the monthly close process
Analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual reports and ensuring financial information has been recorded accurately
Assist in A/P and A/R
Provide assistance to other branches for accounting matters
Provide financial data related to assigned responsibilities to fulfill both internal and external requests for financial data efficiently
Identify process improvement opportunities that adds value to company
Maintain records and files
Other duties assigned as needed
Requirements:
3-5 years of experience in accounting or related field
Skills:
Ability to prioritize responsibilities and complete work timely and accurately
Ability to identify improvement opportunities within processes to improve efficiency and accuracy
Ability to develop and maintain relationships with internal and external business partners through effective communication
Quickbooks and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Adobe, etc.)
Strong verbal and written communication and organizational skills
